Rules and Policies- You cannot do mental checks, or influence a PC (example, Persuasion). This can potentially force a PC to do something they do not want to do, it's not cool and it's a dick move. DMs should avoid doing this, and so should players.
- I have limited patience for technology at my table. If you need to message someone, wait for (or ask for) a break. If you don't want to pay attention to DnD, don't attend, you know I like small group sizes. - I call obstruction, not you! Jumanji rules only count if I see where the dice land. Maybe I'll get a dice bowl and solve all these problems once and for all... - You people get to help me do various chores. Enjoy. In addition, messes must be cleaned up before people leave. |
Spell Ban List- Animal Shapes
- Contagion - Foresight - Forcecage - True Polymorph - Wall of Force - Animated Dead (See "Summons" below) Spell Nerf List- Polymorph: The CR is changed from equal to your level to equal to the spell slot it is cast in.
- Summons (Animal, Monster, Undead, so on): This is pretty much just a ban, but I will let players convince me otherwise on a per-spell basis. Either way, you may have only one summon active at a time. Summons break the action economy 5e has tried so hard to enforce (see beast master Ranger) and it adds more fighters to an already over-full party. - Guiding Bold's range is changed to 90ft (from 120ft) |
